The Federal Reserve Bank of New York upgraded their processing and storage facility to include automated handling and storage systems. Diamond Head Principals provided a simulation model to analyze and validate the design of the automated systems, and prove the concept before the major capital investment was made. Through the simulation model, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors was able to completely understand the full scope of automation and its financial impact before embarking on the project.
