Oxford is the oldest publisher in the world. Their Central European supply chain distribution facility had upgraded from manual to automated systems, and was experiencing difficulties in getting the new systems to meet expectations. A Diamond Head Principal was contracted to help analyze several proposed solutions by developing a detailed simulation model of the facility. Simulation results were critical in clearly pinpointing the best solution and getting their distribution operations back on track.
