Principals

Randall Gibson

Managing Principal:

Mr. Gibson has over 25 years of professional experience in the design, implementation, and simulation modeling of production, distribution, and transportation systems, and is considered one of the senior leaders in the simulation industry. He has authored numerous articles on practical aspects of simulation modeling and analysis as applied to business and industrial problems,  is a frequent speaker and author at industry conferences, and is a Senior Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE). His background includes experience in applying simulation modeling and analysis technology to a wide variety of industrial and business problems.   He was previously founder of Automation Associates Inc., an engineering consulting firm focused on simulation modeling for supply chain applications.  Automation Associates was acquired by TranSystems Corp. in 2005, where he served as Senior Vice President / Principal in the Management and Supply Chain Consulting division. He retired from TranSystems in early 2009 to found Diamond Head Associates, Inc.   Earlier in his career he was a co-founder and corporate officer of two high technology software companies, one involved in computer controlled industrial systems and the other in integrated material handling automation and control.  He holds an MS in Computer Science and a BS in Applied Physics from the University of California.

Dr. Ricki Ingalls

Principal

Ricki G. Ingalls, Ph.D. is a Principal with Diamond Head Associates Inc., an Associate Professor in the School of Industrial Engineering and Management at Oklahoma State University, and Site Director of the Center for Engineering Logistics and Distribution (CELDi) - a multi-university National Science Foundation (NSF) Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC). Dr. Ingalls  frequently consults for corporations and government agencies in areas such as business strategy, business modeling, resource planning, labor planning, and freight modeling.   Dr. Ingalls joined Oklahoma State in 2000 after 16 years in industry with Compaq, SEMATECH, General Electric and Motorola.  At OSU, he has developed a graduate program in Supply Chain Engineering where he teaches Supply Chain Strategy, Supply Chain Modeling, Simulation and Optimization.  His last position at Compaq was an executive position reporting to the Vice-President of Global Integrated Logistics where he was responsible for Supply Chain Design projects and Supply Chain Strategic Planning for the corporation.  He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M, and a BS in Mathematics.
