The consolidation of their North American facilities required Revlon to determine if an existing distribution system could meet the increased throughput at its Phoenix facility. They partnered with a Diamond Head Principal to develop a detailed simulation model of the facility, which was used to analyze the upgrade plan and determine when additional equipment would need to be added. The model was used over a period of 10 years to plan and validate several facility upgrades as their supply chain network evloved.
