Dr. Ricki Ingalls, Principal

Ricki G. Ingalls, Ph.D. is a Principal with Diamond Head Associates Inc., an Associate Professor in the School of Industrial Engineering and Management at Oklahoma State University, and Site Director of the Center for Engineering Logistics and Distribution (CELDi) - a multi-university National Science Foundation (NSF) Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC). Dr. Ingalls frequently consults for corporations and government agencies in areas such as business strategy, business modeling, resource planning, labor planning, and freight modeling. Dr. Ingalls joined Oklahoma State in 2000 after 16 years in industry with Compaq, SEMATECH, General Electric and Motorola. At OSU, he has developed a graduate program in Supply Chain Engineering where he teaches Supply Chain Strategy, Supply Chain Modeling, Simulation and Optimization.  He is the Program Chair for the 2009 Winter Simulation Conference.  He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M, and a BS in Mathematics.

Dr. Steven Roberts, Senior Associate

Stephen Roberts, a Senior Associate at Diamond Head Associates, is the A. Doug Allison Distinguished Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering in the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University. Previously, he was a faculty member for four years at the University of Florida and for eighteen years he held joint faculty position at Purdue University and at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he was also a Director at the Regenstrief Institute for Health Care. He has extensive service to the Winter Simulation Conference (WSC), serving as Proceeding Editor (1983) and Program Chair (1986) and a member of the WSC Board of Directors (1988-1996).  Currently he is an officer of the WSC Foundation and is on the Editorial Advisory Committee for TOMACS. He holds Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and is a Fellow of IIE.  His primary research and teaching interests are in simulation methodology and simulation applications to health care.

Dr. Jeff Joines, Senior Associate

Jeff Joines, Ph.D., a Senior Associate at Diamond Head Associates,   is Associate Professor and Associate Department Head in the Textile Engineering, Chemistry & Science department at North Carolina State University, where he teaches engineering and simulation courses at the graduate and undergraduate level.   He conducts research in manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and simulation.  He is an active member of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science, the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers, and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University.
